- Are you available to show your home? Once your sign is out, will you be ready to show your home at a moment's notice? If you don't answer your phone or door, you are turning away buyers! You have to be available to meet buyers from daylight til dark.
- Is your home being marketed properly? Can potential buyers find your homes information? How are you going to make it stand out amoung the thousands of homes that you are competing against?
- Are you refusing to work with a Realtor? FSBOs are selling alone to avoid paying commissions, but the truth is, buyers rely on Realtors to show them houses. When asked, 8 out of 10 people preferred working with a Realtor.
- Is your home priced "in the market"? FSBOs usually don't have access to current market information that will put their home at a price point that will sell. Overpriced homes are overlooked....buyers simply move on to the next one.
